Design Process
Persimmon Interior Design is a full service interior design firm that can assist with any size project. Whether you need a new WINDOW TREATMENT or have a RENOVATION in mind, we are here to help. Persimmon can handle any aspect of the process from design and specification to installation. If it’s simply new FLOORING or a completely new KITCHEN AND BATHROOM – together with a list of licensed tradespeople – we can deliver a room that’s uniquely you!
What You Can Expect
STEP ONE - Consultation
Initial one hour meeting in client’s home or business
Review your goals, preferences, timeframe and budget
Create a working agreement outlining scope and fees
Take measurements and photographs
STEP TWO - Design Concept & Presentation
Develop color scheme and source fabrics, furniture, lighting and finishes
Presentation includes carefully edited selections including fabrics, drawings, photos and samples for each element in the design
By the end of the meeting we should have a complete design concept that meets your approval and budget
Once the design has been approved and all elements are finalized we will begin executing on the design
STEP THREE - Ordering & Implementation
We’ll oversee the ordering, delivery and the installation of all furniture and other décor purchased through Persimmon Interior Design
Custom window treatments are made locally and installed by an experienced team of professionals
For renovation work we can recommend and will coordinate with a general contractor and/or sub- contractors to convey our design intent . Any required site visits can be discussed and included in our agreement
STEP FOUR - Installation
This is where the vision becomes reality. All work by contractors has been completed
Now the furniture is delivered, window treatments are installed, rugs laid, accessories placed, artwork hung and photographs taken
All elements of the design concept are brought together to provide the ultimate transformation If it can be arranged, we will have it all done on the same day so you get that “wow” effect when you come home!
