Ann Johnsrud

Principal, Interior Designer

Ann’s lifelong passion for design had an early beginning when she visited her father’s architectural firm and did homework at his drafting table.

After careers in advertising and visual merchandising Ann pursued her love of design and earned her degree in interior design.

Ann founded her design firm in 2009 and has worked with numerous clients creating interiors that feel like “home”. Projects range from kitchen and bath remodels, whole house renovations and after discovering a love of textiles her firm began designing custom window treatments.

A refined sense of style and an interest in traveling bring a colorful global perspective to Ann’s interiors. She loves taking design inspiration from something that has meaning to her clients – a favorite piece of artwork or a treasure from their travels.

Our Team

Persimmon Interior Design has partnered with a team of experienced tradespeople and can coordinate with each of them to ensure a seamless integration of design and execution.

Renovation projects range from kitchen and bathrooms to whole home remodeling and we can coordinate with a recommended general contractor and their sub trades to convey design intent. For smaller projects we can offer referrals for painters, electricians, plumbers and tile installers.

Persimmon’s window treatment team includes expert seamstresses, reupholsterer, drapery workrooms and installers, each with over 30 years of experience. While on site we can also offer to hang artwork and other décor!
